Charity art auctions can be unpredictable affairs and need

good preparation if they are to succeed; notable recent sales include:

£19,500 for Sightsavers International at the Standard Chartered Bank auction

£1,000 for a small painting in BBC TVs Celebrity Cash in the Attic to benefit Macmillan Nurses

£6,500 for one painting for Yes to Life (complimentary cancer treatments)

£6,000 for one of my paintings for the National Star College at the Starart auction with a further

£7,000 worth of my small specially created paintings sold from the wall.

With the help and generous support of many artists and dealers, we have raised a total from the Starart events towards the new creative arts centre at the National Star College so far of over £100,000
