Paintings & Events for charities 2017

Further details and pictures as the works develop

ALL proceeds from the sales will go to the charities

HERR SCHUBERT

A 5 foot high painted sculpture on show in the Regent's Arcade, Cheltenham until October 2017 as part of the Cirencester and Cotswold Hare Trail. He will then be auctioned for the National Star College of which PJ is a Patron

The project was inspired by Mick Rooney's submission to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2016. Together with some of Mick's RA peers and a host of well known and loved artists we will be creating an orchestra of painted ukuleles.

We will showcase the instruments at a charity performance with The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and special guests at The Jazz Cafe on September 12 before holding an event to auction them. The money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust.

BE LUCKY

The canvases are 16” by 12” and we are aiming to exhibit 140 of them during May in the Billiards Room, with a silent auction culminating in a big party to announce the results on Wednesday 17th May 2017.

The aim, as ever, is to raise money for the two Club charities – the AGBI and our own Chelsea Arts Club Trust.
